Dr. William D. Kuehl joined Asheville Cardiology in 1992. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Iowa. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. His Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine was completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. His Interventional Cardiology training was performed jointly at Duke University Medical Center and the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
Before joining Asheville Cardiology Associate, Dr. Kuehl served as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Duke Medical Center.
Dr. Kuehl is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. His specialties include General Cardiology, Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, and Interventional Cardiology. His professional societies include Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
