Visiting Hours

It's important for our patients to be able to visit with loved ones while they are healing. However, guests are encouraged to limit their length of visitation time and the number of people visiting a patient to ensure adequate time for rest and recovery.

Mission Hospital general visiting hours:

9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., seven days per week

After Hour Visitors:
Visitation after 9:00 p.m. may be arranged with approval from the Nursing Unit Supervisor.  All visitors to the Memorial and St. Joseph's campuses of Mission Hospital must enter through the front lobby and check in with the security officer stationed there. A photo ID is required in order to be assigned a visitor's badge.  If no photo ID is available a picture will need to be taken. The process should take less than 5 minutes. Your visitor's badge will be active for that evening only, if you visit the following evening you will need to go through the check in procedure again.

People in the Emergency Department waiting area do not need a badge unless they leave there to go to other parts of the hospital.  Those who are already in the hospital at 9 pm are asked to go to the front lobby for their badge. Mission staff members will ask anybody they see between 9 pm and 5 am who is not wearing a badge to go to the lobby to obtain one.

Please check to see if there are any current visitor restrictions for the hospital before your arrival.  Any person with a fever, upper respiratory infection, sore throat, cold or any other infectious condition, or those who have been exposed to chicken pox, measles or mumps within the last three weeks should NOT visit Mission Hospital.  This will prevent the spread of illnesses that can seriously compromise the health of our patients.
