Mission Medical Associates - Bariatric Physician 

Mission Health and Hospitals is searching for a Board Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician with experience/interest in weight management.  The position is 100% Bariatric and Outpatient.  The ideal candidate will share a strong interest in working with the Bariatric patient population and have Medical Bariatric certification or be open to obtaining certification.
 
We provide women and men with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively lose and manage their weight. Because is a multi-faceted disease, we offer a multi-disciplinary treatment approach and three distinct programs:

• Nutritional Counseling - Registered dietitians certified in weight management training
• Medical (non-surgical) Weight Management - All of our programs support the role of nutrition, behavior modification and activity in lifestyle change.
• Surgical Weight Management - Gastric Banding (LAP-BAND®), Gastric Bypass Surgery, and Gastric Sleeve
