Alan was diagnosed with diabetes when he was four years old. Over the years, he has received continued care and support from a team of specialists at Mission Children's Hospital, including the area's only pediatric endocrinologist. |
Pediatric Endocrinologists at Mission Children's Hospital specialize in treating disorders related to growth, hormones, glands and chronic illnesses such as diabetes and obesity. Our team uses their experience to connect with kids, developing relationships that encourage communication and help ensure their cooperation in treatments that sometimes last a lifetime. Following a complete medical history and relevant diagnostic tests, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include referral to our Children's Weight Management Clinic, Family-Centered Therapy, or our Diabetes Camp.
